2010 debut from Dustin Payseur's Beach Fossils. The band's sound recalls the early years of The Cure and Factory Records with their jangly, chorus and reverb drenched guitar playing driving the tunes. Payseur's vocals are often sweet sounding hidden behind lush atmospherics, but don't let the description come off as some sort of knock off. Their choruses are catchy as hell and you can't help but sing along while dancing in your office chair. Reissued on Payseur’s own label, Bayonet Records for its 10th anniversary, pressed on 'seafoam swirl' colored vinyl with the 'Vacation' / 'Time' 7" single on cherry red vinyl to sweeten the deal. Recommended.
