Another excellent recording of Bill Evans Trio from the early 60's reissued. At Shelly's Manne-Hole, Hollywood, California captures Bill Evans in rare form with his short-term third trio that featured bassist Chuck Israels and L.A. drummer Larry Bunker. This would be the only recording of the trio in this configuration, and Evans' final record for his first label, Riverside. Features a selection of standards including "Round Midnight," "Blues In F," and "Isn't It Romantic," played with Evans' signature soft, melodic touch.
