The Frenchman (born in Peckham, London!) digs into CHIC's catalog, and he breathes in fresh energy into the revered production duo's tracks, 20 in total. Dimitri rarely misses the mark when reworking classics, and his streak continues on Le Chic Remix; from the CHIC staple "Le Freak" to the irresistible "I Want Your Love" (that introl!) and the newly extended "He's The Greatest Dancer," the collection is all about timeless, joyous dance music, and Dimitri's respectful touch only maximizes the tracks' relevance. In addition to the aforementioned, check out "Thinking of You," and "My Forbidden Love." Oh, since he had access to the original studio masters from circa 1978, he includes instrumentals, some previously unreleased.
