"Baby" is easily the most enduring and ubiquitous song off Donnie & Joe Emerson's 1979 self-released album (receiving a well-deserved resurgence in recent years thanks to a cover version from Ariel Pink and Dam-Funk). The track delivers Valentine's vibes galore with a mellow blend of sincere bedroom pop and lo-fi slow jam soul. Worth it for "Baby" alone, but you also get the previously unreleased "Tonight" on the B-side. Limited edition of 1,000 on die-cut heart shaped vinyl. Comes in reusable poly bag with custom sticker. Recommended.
