Sophomore studio album from California's Eels. Electro-Shock Blues was originally recorded in 1998 and was written largely in response to front man Mark Oliver Everett's (aka E) sister's suicide and his mother's terminal lung cancer. Includes the songs: "Last Stop: This Town," "Cancer for the Cure," "Climbing to the Moon," and "3 Speed." Sixteen tracks in all. Released by Geffen Records on 180 gram double vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve.
