Remastered reissue of the second Galaxie 500 album from 1989. On Fire is widely considered the Boston trio' finest work and a seminal piece of the slowcore movement (indie rock sub-genre characterized by downbeat melodies, slow tempo, and minimalist arrangements... think the slightly cleaner-cut bro of shoegaze). I haven't heard this in a while, but sounds great with its warm melodies and slightly amateurish vocals. Not to sound like a gramp, but they don't make music like this these days.
