The Adventures Of Captain Crook finds the German producer showcasing his knack for flipping dusty drums and jazz loops with a throwback boom bap aesthetic (think Mo'Wax era DJ Krush and you're on the right track). Check "All Of The Time," "Into A Sky," "Truly," and "Touch" for a taste. Impressive to say the least, guaranteed head nod material. LA rapper Blu even makes a couple appearances here (check "Down" and "Comeback"), but for the most part it's an instrumental get-down... and we ain't mad at that! Pic sleeve, 8 tracks in all. Recommended.
