The Story
Pew, pew, pew! Originally released in 1985, Gradius was crucial title in the evolution of the shoot-em-up genre. The original game is an undisputed classic, spawning countless sequels, spin-offs, and imitators, while remaining a crown jewel in the Konami catalog. Ship To Shore Phonograph Co. pays homage to the game's influential OST with this deluxe vinyl pressing of both the 1986 NES/Famicom version, and the enhanced 1989 MSX port which has never before been released outside of Japan. Comes pressed on crystal clear colored vinyl, complete with double-sided insert featuring rare artwork from the Konami archives, plus liner notes by Jeremy Parish. Recommended.
