The Story

In January of 2015 (1/30/15), the surviving members of Mad Season (Mike McCready and Barrett Martin) reunited for a one off reunion concert in Seattle. The grunge rock supergroup, which also featured Layne Staley of Alice In Chains and John Baker Saunders of The Walkabouts before they passed away, only existed for one album before this show. McCready and Martin were joined by Soundgarden's Chris Cornell, Pearl Jam members Matt Cameron, Stone Gossard, and Jeff Ament, and Guns N' Roses' Duff McKagan, as well as the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. They performed orchestral and solo arrangements of original Mad Season works, along with Temple Of The Dog's "Call Me A Dog" and "Reach Down." The concert was recorded live at Benaroya Hall and is now available as a double vinyl album on Pearl Jam's own Monkeywrench Records.
