Fifth studio album from iconic Canadian singer songwriter Neil Young. On The Beach was originally released in 1974 and was was recorded in a haphazard manner with a variety of session musicians. It was a far cry from the recording of his breakout album, Harvest. Despite the rough edges of On The Beach there is quite a bit of depth to the album. Some of Young's richest and most metaphorical work is contained within the "blues trilogy" that is at the heart of the album. Includes the songs: "Walk On," "On The Beach," and "Ambulance Blues." Eight tracks in all. Released by Reprise Records on black vinyl housed in a full color sleeve.
