Originally released as the closing track on Fredin's 1983 solo debut as Fredin Comp, "Gryning" is a minimalistic mix of electronic drums, synthesizers and melancholic vocals. Mats Lindberg's production is the perfect compliment to Fredin's ode to Stockholm's dawn. Sweden's Planet Records released "Gryning" as a 12" single along with another album track, but it is unclear how many copies were produced. Originals are rare to come across. We're more than pleased to see a proper release of this sublime cut. Released by Fri Form on black vinyl with a printed inner sleeve. Recommended.
