Originally released in 1968, Beggars Banquet marked the end of The Rolling Stones' psychedelic pop era (Their Satanic Majesties Request), and a celebrated return to their signature bluesy roots rock sound. The album features several iconic Stones songs, kicking off with the image-defining epic "Sympathy For The Devil," then getting into "No Expectations" with its Delta Blues-inflected slide guitar, and the innovative, politically-charged single "Street Fighting Man."
