Prima Donna finds Staples expanding his repertoire and flipping styles like nobody's business. From the fuzzed-out rap rock of "Smile," the heavy trunk-rattling slaps of "Pimp Hand," or the hard af title track (with an assist from A$AP Rocky), Vince keeps it lit. Majority of the beats come from No I.D. and DJ Dahi, with a couple standout cuts coming from James Blake ("Big Time," "War Ready"). Limited edition white vinyl version with gatefold sleeve. Foil stamped numbered copies. Recommended.
